LCA’s current governance and organization structure has been in place since its inception in 2019. LCA is under the general supervision of the International ICT Companies. The supreme governing body of LCA is the Board of Directors. The LCA Board of Directors is appointed the Agency at its inception.
The Board gives guidance on policy direction and strategies to the Agency as provided for in the LCA Constitution of 2019. The Board facilitates, supervises and supports the LCA Executive in implementation of the LCA strategic Objective.
Among others, the Board is specifically responsible for formulation of policy guidelines, approval of budgets and action plans, monitoring implementation of plans and programmes, determining structure and establishing staffing levels and establishment of rules and procedures of the Agency.
At operational level, LCA has an established Secretariat that operates under directorates with each depicting a functional area for the Agency.
